    Description

This is a set of Grenada Postage Dues from 1892.  They are SG D4 - the 1d on 6d, SG D5 - the 1d on 8d, SG D6 - the 2d on 6d, and SG D7 the 2d on 8d.  These are four ultra rare stamps, more so in Mint Never Hinged Condition as D5 and D7 are.  D4 and D6 come in Mint Hinged and on cover.  This set also includes first date of use covers of the D5 and D7 values.  D5 is August 12, 1892.  D7 is August 20, 1892. D4 and D6 were dated November 9, 1892, and sent on cover to a local merchant at the capital.  This is absolutely amazing and world class.  Less than a dozen of these are known and these ones here are the very finest possible.  They are valued at L8000+++ in the SG Catalog.  D4 and D6 are valued in Mint condition at L400.
