    Description

    Compliments of Schermer Bros., Madison, Illinois, 1927.  Meat or vegetable platter, 11 1/2 x 9 x 1."  No chips or cracks, lots of crazing and has gotten soiled in the crazed areas.  Made by Illinois China Co. of Lincoln, Illinois.  Madison is in western Illinois just across the river from St. Louis.  I believe the grocery store was still in business in the 1990s.  Nice local historical item.  Shipping weight over 2 pounds.
