Description
This listing is for an oldmetal ‘tab button’, from the early 1940s. It says “10%”, which was meant to indicate that the person wearing it was taking ten percent of their wages in war bonds in order to help fund the U.S.A. during WWII. In good shape with only a little vintage wear here and there.
Back has rows of union labels (Allied Printing of Chicago, IL) and drawings of swimming duck, “The Mark of Quality”.
Ruler is shown for purposes of scale only.
