In order to bring a GPS device on the R1200GS optimally into your perspective, we have developed a sturdy mounting adapter made of stainless steel for almost all Touratech GPS handlebar brackets. This way your GPS device will find an optimal place above the instruments of the R1200GS.
This mounting adapter is integrated into the stem of the R1200GS. The bracket is so wide that, for example, a GPS device can be positioned according to individual preferences.
When using some GPS devices with holders, due to the device size etc. do not avoid that a small part of the instruments is covered. However, since the exact position is selected by yourself, this can be set as desired.
