Vintage 1948 Emerson Model 612 10" TV

. Separate shipping cost for the picture tube must be added, Global Shipping calculates for just one item. A credit will be applied to the picture tube shipping since that cost is figured in shipping it to eBay's Global Shopping center in KY that won't be used. Please write for details.
1948 Emerson model 612, 10" TV. This was one of their nicer designs with slope back styling and pull-down front door that covered the control knobs. Cabinet has a veneer chips, 1/2" square at the left rear, 1/2" x 1" top right and as clearly can be seen there are several chips on the front door. Also notice the back is missing. These set are
gorgeous when restored/refinished especially with new veneer on the swing down control cover door.
The chassis
appears to be complete with the exception of the high voltage cage cover and AC cord
. Looking at the underside I can see it has been repaired in the past with many replacement caps, rectifiers and resistors. I tested the 10BP4 picture tube, cosmetically it
has 8 or so noticeable small scratches, most can be felt with a fingernail. The sprayed on Dag is long gone. Sencore CR70 Test: H-K Shorts - Good, G1 Shorts - Good, Cutoff - Low/Bad, Emissions - Good and the Life Test is Good as well.

This TV and picture tube come as shown, I did not test the electronics. I buy, sell and collect vintage TV’s, I do no electronic restorations/repairs. I am selling this TV and all its parts including the picture tube as pictured, as-is, display only, not working, for parts and repair, no returns. The important thing is it appears to be mostly all there with no known missing electronic parts so it can be restored/repaired if desired.
TV measures 16 1/2” tall, 18” wide, 21 1/2” deep and weighs 62 lb.

Box for TV cabinet with chassis will measure 22” tall, 23” wide, and 26” deep and weigh 62 lb. when packed.
Picture tube measures 10" in diameter, 17 1/2" tall and weighs 12 lb. Package will measure 14" x 14" x 25" tall and weigh 16 lb.
Good, strong packing supplies/boxes including 2” thick hard Styrofoam to line the boxes will cost and FedEx Ground shipping (cheapest/ best handling ground service) will cost 0.00. There is no charge for my packing labor. If it ships for less I will refund the buyer the difference.
