1969 Airline GEN-11960A, 9" transistor portable TV.
The set is complete with removable dark sun-shield and AC cord. Cosmetics are excellent overall. As you can see in the pics below there is couple fine scratches and small ding in the aluminum trim above the UHF dial. Please also see some rubs on the drop-down handle and some very minor wear to sun-shield, metal and plastic surfaces here and there. The smallest antenna top rods are missing and a screw was set in the top of the 3rd rod of the remaining 3 rods.
A quick, non conclusive test shows the TV picture tube lights up and sound can be heard through the speaker. This TV will need to be gone over and possibly be repaired by a qualified technician before use. It can/might/will stop working at all any second so it is
sold
as-is, display only, not working, for parts and repair, no returns
. The important thing is the chassis is all there with no known missing electronic parts so it is valuable as a collectible or can be restored/repaired if desired.
TV measures 9 1/4” tall, 11” wide, 9 3/4” deep and weighs 14 lb.
Box will measure 14” tall, 16” wide, and 14” deep and weigh 18 lb. when packed.
Good, strong packing supplies/boxes including 2” thick hard Styrofoam to line the boxes will cost and FedEx Ground shipping (cheapest/ best handling ground service) will cost .00. There is no charge for my packing labor.
