Vintage Casio Pocket Liquid Crystal Color Television TV-2000 -- PARTS or REPAIR

Description

Seems to power on because I can hear static in the speaker. However, the screen is not lit. I am in an area that does not have signals so I'm not sure if this works or not. Plastic case and screen are in nice shape. Carrying case is very nice too. Comes with instructions and headphone on cord that has not been used. Antenna extends fully and is not bent. Does not appear to be any corrosion in the battery area-- see photo.
This is a vintage item to be considered for parts or nostalgia or with a clever person, for repair.  Ships without batteries. Thanks for looking!
