Vintage Panasonic Solid State Portable TV TR-555 1975/76 Use Elec Or Batteries

Vintage Panasonic Solid State Portable TV TR-555 1975/76. I put 9D batteries in it to see if it worked without plugging it in and it did, but I took the batteries back out so you will need to put batteries in if you want to use it without electricity. The antenna goes up pretty high as shown. The very tip of it is a little rough so I don’t know if the very tip is broken off or not. I woudn’t think that would make any difference anyway but just mentioning it. I can’t get a picture but I am assuming that is due to being in a small town an hour away from a tv tower. I would think since there is static on the screen that means it’s in working order with the correct antenna power needed to get a picture. If you know of something that I can try to test for you, I’ll be happy to do it if you let me know. I am selling it as is, as described and as shown in pictures. Please ask questions prior to bidding.
