This is a wonderful find....picked this up at an estate sale
This is a classic mid-century Black & White portable television set from Sears
Front says....SEARS.....SOLID STATE
Man.....we had one similar to this when I was a kid....no remote....you had to get up off the couch and turn the "clicker" dial....LOL
Chassis on this shows virtually no signs of wear....it is in exceptional condition
Carrying handle on the top is fully attached and undamaged...chrome trim is shiny and bright
Antenna is undamaged, fully extends and has the optional "bow tie" accessory antenna (I think this was for better UHF reception but can not be sure)
This is working.....you have to wait like 30 seconds after you turn it on for it to "warm up"....then screen image appears
Side nobs include on/off/volume, contrast, bright, v-hold, h-hold
There are 2 small "red lights" on each side by the VHF dial and UHF dial....not sure if they are working or not...forgot to check when I had it plugged in
You would have to have an adapter to connect this to cable and now days, not sure you are going to get any analog TV reception
